PART TWO:
And so the Jay Thorpe saga continues. A couple of years in right after 911, I decided to make a big move... moving Coastal.
That's a big decision only brave girls make. As I put my stuff together, tucked them all the way into a corner of my closet, I came across this heirloom box that's been sitting pretty with a DND (Do Not Disturb) written over it. I didn't want to unravel this sleeping beauty, kept free of harsh elements, moth and musty odors that vintage items can encounter.

I moved it like it was the only prized possession I've ever owned...hahaha, like fragile perishable goods. No one should touch this piece, and actually, no one should know the box contents. I double packaged it some more; into its original box.
Then another box, and finally another box, like it was a Russian doll Babushka or Matryoshka. 
A way we go from New Jersey, New York, Florida on board a moving truck to San Jose, California.
"Do you know the way to San Jose?" Me singing. Once more unpacked her from the nest and let her sit pretty once more in her original heirloom glory. Now she can rest in peace for a while without any more disturbance...in her new home, once more tucked into a closet corner. Her single self life continues.
