Once in a while I find myself moving furniture around, and that's often how I see my sense of style. I should say I'm so unpredictable when it comes to style.
It's like while blindfolded, putting my hand into a bag of M&Ms not knowing what flavor or color I'm going to get.

JEWELRY
I love accessories so much and I love the way they augment the overall mood of an outfit. When it comes to selecting jewelry, I tend to go for minimal pieces on days when I just want to feel laid back while giving an outfit a fresh and clean look...these are the days that I get to wear my diamond studs. The only pair that I've owned for years....I just love the simplicity of them.
On days that call my name out loud…..are the days that I go over and beyond. These are days that I feel bold, maybe a little wild and I'll have arrived even when I have not set destination.
These are my extravagant days and I have no apologies. Let the accessory and jewelry pieces speak for themselves. So I should say that I should not have "in between" pieces. I'm talking about ones that call me to be me. They are the......"I'm the departure and the destination so the buck stops with me" type of jewelry pieces.

I love Marni jewelry and accessories. I've acquired a few notable Marni pieces, from bold statement earrings to bold necklaces. These pieces speak to me very well...they feel me and definitely set my mood for the day. I'm talking about jewelry that has an ethnic flair and that are stylishly fabulous. One of a kind signature pieces that takes an entire outfit to a whole different level. Some of my old-time favorites as well are pieces designed by Oscar de la Renta, Marni and Alexis Bittar. So far I've absolutely loved all the pieces by these designers that I've come across.
IT’S ALL IN THE DETAIL.
“Luxury is in each detail”
Now when it come to vintage heirloom jewelry, this is a whole different ballgame altogether. These are amazing pieces that I've acquired from Estate Sales, Vintage Stores and Thrift Stores. You have to actually have a real knowledgeable eye for great quality pieces. If you don't have such an eye...I'd suggest not to bother until knowing what to really look for...otherwise you'll end up purchasing a bunch of costume jewelry that has no value. These heirloom pieces were handcrafted by Artisans using forged precious metals and authentic gem stones. Most, if not all all of them have a stamp or some kind of signature on them that you can use as reference to do a search on them or appraisal to authenticate. And these are the pieces that tell a unique story. You can never go wrong with them and they only get better with time. Amazing and unique pieces that have been handed down from one generation to another until there was either no one to pass down to or life just happened and there was no longer interest in them other than to let them go.
And this is when Stella comes in... I try to bring them back to life and style them elaborately.
I redefine style.
As I've gotten just a little older, I've become obsessed with details and this is especially so when it comes to outfits that I wear. One thing I've also discovered is that you can never go wrong when it comes to wearing just a tank tee with a simple pair of denim. Then you can accentuate your look with an accent jewelry piece and this will always do you good especially when you're going for a bold piece. This could be a pair of earrings, a necklace or bracelet. Let the pieces do the talking for you...you don't have to say a word or much at all....just style up and show up...that's when you know that you've finally arrived your destination.
My opinion is that whatever makes you happy...go for it! And besides, I'll tell you this...style changes my mood. I might be telling you this today and tomorrow is a different day then totally a different story. After all, break those fashion rules and just be you.
Now that I've been vaccinated, I am planning on visiting those Vintage stores just to browse and see...to get my creative and style juices flowing. I just never know what my next wardrobe will look like.
