It never ceases to amaze me how so often when we least expect it, we can come across individual accessories that are absolutely beautifully made.
We come across them and there is that sudden realization - this is exactly our style and our passion!
I am one of those people that once I love something ... I never hesitate to go for it.
I will find pieces from all over - from the unknown labels, premier designer labels including vintage pieces.
When you have confidence in your personal style, you won't hold back on items of beautiful craftsmanship and detail.
I love when I discover up and coming unique and amazing designers, especially those from Africa. One thing I've discovered is that these "Up and Comers" can often so be talented - their products having such uniqueness and quality to them.
I am originally from Africa, a continent where there is beauty exuding in everything
The Arm Candy
Whenever I come across such beautiful pieces made by up and coming designers - I get so elated! Why?
It is because this takes me back ... so fondly to where I grew up - Kenya. It takes me back... to where I grew up watching talented artisans mold and curve pieces without any sketch .
Amazing "original pieces", each individual piece would be of such uniqueness - a one of a kind!
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL WORLD
And we have a love for detail. A well made and special product to me is one that has been hand-crafted by artisans right from scratch, not mass produced. While back home, I never came across any leather product that was manufactured in Kenya that was not genuine leather.
African Artisans believe deeply in the beauty of a product that's been produced.
Do not assume that just because something is expensive it's of great quality.
So many mass produced items can be over-priced, while being of average or less than average quality.
You can tell from the beautiful smiles exuded from the African people's faces. This Beauty reflects on the products made.

Thanks for sharing your tips. Your style is amazing!
What a nice philosophy. I also have pride in Filipino products produced by love and by their hands. The problem with products today is that mass-produced ones are affordable while the handicrafts are usually expensive. Even so, I still plan to buy if I have enough budget. hehe.
Thank you so much Danielle Joubert. I’m glad you liked it.
